Can I represent myself in Court, my divorce, my lawsuit, my…?

Yes. In most situations you are entitle to represent yourself, and you don’t have to hire a lawyer.  The main exceptions are in the case of a corporation.  In most court matters, a corporation must be represented by a lawyer. But beware!  Many lawyers will not represent themselves in court. There is a saying that is common among lawyers that states “A lawyer that represents himself has a fool for a client.”
The fact is, that when you are in court, representing yourself, it is almost impossible to separate the roles of “you the client”, “you the witness” and “you the advocate”.
